Everyone is talking about the new iPad/iPad 3. Many got their hands on it on March 16th while others are still waiting to get the taste of the third generation tablet. The best feature of the new iPad/iPad 3 is the Retina Display and Instapaper v4.1 was released to make use of the Retina Display. The fruit company is also advertising it’s 4G LTE aspect although carriers outside North America are not happy with that. The jailbreak community is also happy as the iPad has already been jailbroken. Details below!

If you have been following us regularly, you might know that i0n1c and MuscleNerd were successful in jailbreaking their respective new iPads/iPad 3 only a few hours after the launch. Now chpwn, famous for developing Cydia tweaks and apps, has done the same. Along with @phoenixdev, @chpwn has confirmed that he has jailbroken his new iPad on iOS 5.1.

Grant paul (chpwn) shared his delight to the public by posting the pictures of his jailbroken iPad with Cydia on it. What does this mean? Three different untethered jailbreak exploits are now available for iOS 5.1 running on the third-generation iPad. The first by MuscleNerd, the second by German hacker i0n1c and the third comes from chwpn.

The iPhone Dev Team and MuscleNerd have stated the jailbreak is still in the early stages and needs a lot of work before it’s ready for a public release. Chpwn and i0n1c have stayed quite on the release date of their respective jailbreaks.
